Letter from School Leadership
Welcome to the website of the School of the Cathedral! Cathedral offers an elite kindergarten through eighth grade Catholic education grounded in spiritual strength and academic excellence. Located in Baltimore City’s academic corridor, we have been preparing students to attend the premier high schools since 1871. The School of the Cathedral is a vibrant faith community committed to Christian service and outreach to others. In our school, “Catholic means that everyone is welcome.”
As you explore our community, you will find information and insights into how we provide a nurturing and challenging educational experience for children ages five to fourteen. A few of our resources include our K-8 science lab, Makerspace, 3D printers, and our highly-qualified teachers. Our signature programs, such as the Thomas O’Neill Leadership Program, Student Ambassador Program, Student Council, elective courses, and weekly liturgies, provide an opportunity to prepare our students to meet the leadership needs of an ever-changing world.
