Teacher Websites & School Supplies

Parents and students can access teacher websites to find information regarding summer work, classes, schedules, homework, and projects. Don't forget to purchase your school supplies! The deadline to order through the school has passed, but the school supply list is posted here.

Library Catalog

Cathedral has access to a wide variety of materials through the SCMOQ Library Catalog. Don't forget to click "Cathedral School" to access our online library catalog!

PowerSchool

PowerSchool allows parents to keep current with their child's progress by viewing grades online. See how to set up a parent access account to view your student's grades and assignments on PowerSchool, or how to add a child to an existing PowerSchool account.

Parent Involvement:

CASPA

Cathedral School Parents Association (CASPA) binds parents, students, and teachers more closely in a formal association. Parents are encouraged to volunteer with various events throughout the year.

Shield the Vulnerable

With our longstanding commitment in mind, all parishes and Archdiocesan Catholic schools use Shield the Vulnerable, a compliance management system that allows all parishes and schools to facilitate compliance with Archdiocesan child protection requirements for all volunteers who work with minors, employees, and clergy.

Classroom Parent

Classroom Parent is a secure, online directory that CASPA maintains for use by all parents. Parents may edit their own information, print a school directly, contact other families, and sign up to volunteer for activities. Be sure to register first on the Classroom Parent website, in order to turn on email settings, sign up for events, and more.

Finances:

FACTS

FACTS serves as the preferred provider for financial aid and tuition management service within the Archdiocese of Baltimore. All families are required to sign up and make payment through FACTS utilizing automatic payments (EFT) from a bank account, credit card, or processing checks sent to a secure processing center. Easy and convenient online registration is available.

Forms & Documents

See Forms & Documents to download the student handbook and forms for admissions, volunteering, medical, extended care, and clubs.

Hot Lunch

Our lunches are provided by the Lunch Box. Learn more about the 2017-18 options here. All lunches must be ordered online. If you need assistance with your account or ordering, please call 410-667-1100 or email lunchbox@allaboutlunchdeli.co.

Mustang Market

The Mustang Market is the spot to purchase a variety of School of the Cathedral gear! Visit our school store, the Mustang Market, in the gym lobby every Friday afternoon from 2pm to 3pm for sweatshirts, sweatpants, water bottles, t-shirts, and much more.

Uniforms

Uniforms are a piece of pride for Cathedral students. Students wear summer, winter, and gym uniforms throughout the year. Please pay special attention to the requirements.

Policies:

AdvancED

All Archdiocesan high schools and elementary schools are accredited as a system through AdvancED. Each school is evaluated based on the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools.

Archdiocesan Collaborative School

An Archdiocesan Collaborative School (ACS) is a model of shared governance developed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The ACS model utilizes a shared governance model that fosters unity through the collaboration of stakeholders in support of Catholic schools. The model allows decisions regarding day-to-day school operations to be made at the local level, while individual schools and school administrators are supported centrally from the Department of Catholic Schools and the Catholic Center's Central Services in areas such as academics, finance, development, enrollment management and marketing.

Positive School Environment

To foster a positive school environment where all students are educated in a safe and caring atmosphere, all Archdiocesan schools will follow established procedures for prevention and intervention for bullying, harassment or intimidation.

Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports (PBIS) has been implemented in every Archdiocesan elementary and high school to enhance academic and social behavior outcomes for all students.

Hours of Operation

For information regarding school hours, summer office hours, and extended care hours, see Hours of Operation.

Photography of Students

Cathedral will be posting pictures of students, classroom activities, school events, etc. to social media and the school website. Images may also be used for advertising by Cathedral and the Archdiocese of Baltimore. If you do not wish to have your child’s picture used, please contact Beth Awalt, Communications Coordinator, at beth.awalt@cmoq.org. Your request to not have your student's photo used will be granted from that date forward.
